They're Back!

This is like Allen Iverson reuniting with the city of Philadelphia for that one last miserable but equally exhillerating half-season.

Jeremy Grey and John Beckwith, I mean Vince Vaugh and Owen Wilson join forces once again to hopefully make magic comparible to that of Wedding Crashers. That's a tough task considering Crashers was one of the top 5 funniest movies of all time. Apparently, in 'The Internship,' Vinny V and the O Dog are two dudes in their fortys trying to get internships at google after being let go from their respective jobs. These two trying to fit in with twenty year olds should make for some delightfully inappropriate quotes. The movie comes out June 7th, but here's something to hold you over.

Welcome Denny

Scratch what I said about former Oregon Ducks quarterbacks.
Chip Kelly’s at it already. The Eagles signed Dennis Dixon to a two year deal. Thus, solidifying the fact that Chips plans on playing every snap fast as hell. Sorry Nick.
But Hey, D Dix has himself a championship ring. He was quarterbacking the Ravens practice squad when they won the Super Bowl this past season. At least he’ll be bringing over some championship experience.
Nick Foles might not be the only guy watching his back. If Chip gets too much in the mood we might be looking for Ducks all over the league. I heard we might be in for a trade to the Buck’s for Legarrette Blount. Shady beware.

Vick to Stick

I suppose Ol’ Chip was unable to lure Darren Thomas away from the Calgary Stampeders, or stop Jeremiah Masoli from robbing things.
Therefore, the Eagles have signed Mike Vick to a one-year deal worth up to $10 million. Granted, this is a contract full of incentives and it will take the Eagles winning the super Bowl for him to make that 10 million, he will be the guy for the Birds in 2013. In recent interviews, Vick’s said that he believes he can rush for 1,000 yards this season and his recipe for success is being less cautious with his body.
Vick has only rushed for 1,000 yards once in his career, in 2006 when he looked like he was playing backyard football on every snap. But Hell, with Chip, anything is possible. Right? And sure, Mike, be less cautious with your body just as long as you’re more cautious with your decision making.
Kelly said that the job between the 33 year old quarterback and the second year gun slinger will be won on the practice field. Go V7.
